In 2017, Pastor Andre and his wife Erin began to dream about starting a new church that would be full of life and be a movement of hope in our community. In October of that year, they began having Bible Studies in their home and encouraging people to walk close with God and to not do church, but be the church.

Starting from a small group meeting in their home, they grew and then moved to the local hotel conference room, then to the museum here in our town, and then in September of 2018, they moved to Berkeley Middle School where The Corner gathered for several years.

In the spring of 2023, The Corner secured its first building and in July of that year the church moved into it. The Corner has continued to carry out its mission to Love Moncks Corner with the heart of Jesus so that those who are far from God will know Him. 

From the very beginning, Pastor Andre and Erin envisioned The Corner to be a community where people would: 
Connect in meaningful friendships,
Create a life-changing relationship with God,
Cultivate their God-given purpose,
and learn how to Carry the Gospel with them everywhere they go.

We are a movement of Gospel Carries set on changing our community and the world with the love of Jesus.
